- To successfully deliver this project, the following duties will be required:
- Establish and foster relationships with assigned internal clients/stakeholders.
- Understand clients' business processes to better guide them on project technology decisions.
- As required, evaluate whether any internal applications or products can meet the client's IT needs and conduct space market research to evaluate available COTS solutions.
- Recommend a best-fit IT solution.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a member of a team
- Prepare a plan document defining the project schedule and budget, project team framework and scope, highlighting the milestones, and the execution strategy.
- Provide vendor management for large projects from start to completion of project
- Oversee the Business Analysis process.
- Develop a rollout plan and oversee deployment into production, including developing a support plan.
- Execution of project from start to finish and meeting with key stakeholders to understand current operations
- Guide the best solution to streamline or process re-engineer their current operations
- Conduct JAD sessions or workshops with business users to elicit information regarding their needs and requirements for existing or new systems
- Assist in the development of functional requirement documents
- Maintain and update the project schedule regularly.
- Conduct status meetings.
- Assure proper articulation and reporting of project status to stakeholders and executive management.
- Develop professional and consistent meeting minutes that support consensus and alignment across stakeholders
- Create Presentations and Conduct Demos of systems/applications for projects and Stakeholders.
- Work in coordination with an existing PM on an in-flight project
- Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in application and network deployment
- Experience in leading multi-departmental meetings
- 7 years of experience in a role as IT project manager leading complex, enterprise-wide technical and/or business initiatives.
- 7 years of experience with managing SDLC Waterfall and/or Agile methodology projects.
- 7 years of experience in creating project management artifacts (project charter, project plan, timelines (MS Project software), requirements documents, project and resource planning, deployment plans, support plans, and conversion plans.
- 7 years in gathering requirements, business analysis, use cases, and creating functional requirements documents.
- 4 years of experience managing web-based applications especially .net and solutions using SQL Server and ORACLE RDMS
