Job Overview:

We are seeking a Meat Cutter to join our team. The Meat Cutter will be responsible for cutting, trimming, and packaging meat products for sale in a local family owned butcher shop.

Responsibilities:

- Cut, trim, and prepare cuts of meat according to customer specifications
- Package, weigh, and label meat products for sale
- Ensure proper storage and handling of all meat products
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their meat selection
- Adhere to food safety standards and regulations

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a kitchen or food industry preferred
- Ability to handle and cut various types of meats
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in weighing and measuring
- Excellent customer service skills
- Understanding of food safety practices and regulations
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects
