Physical Therapist Assistant Job Duties:
- A physical therapist assistant providing an ongoing assessment to determine the level of functioning, including OASIS
- Implementing and revising the plan of care in consultation with the physician and other care team members.
- Responsible for planning, evaluation, and treatment implementation of assigned caseload.
- Preparing clinical progress notes.
- Supervising therapy assistants and home health aides as appropriate.
- Evaluating outcomes.
- Educate patients and/or families about proper safe use and recommend methods for installation of adaptive equipment.
Physical Therapist Assistant Qualifications:
- Must be a graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program and licensed by the state of practice (Texas or New Mexico).
- Demonstrates good verbal and written communication and organization skills.
- Possesses and maintains current CPR certification.
