Physical Therapist Assistant Job Duties:

• A physical therapist assistant providing an ongoing assessment to determine the level of functioning, including OASIS
• Implementing and revising the plan of care in consultation with the physician and other care team members.
• Responsible for planning, evaluation, and treatment implementation of assigned caseload.
• Preparing clinical progress notes.
• Supervising therapy assistants and home health aides as appropriate.
• Evaluating outcomes.
• Educate patients and/or families about proper safe use and recommend methods for installation of adaptive equipment.
  
  

Physical Therapist Assistant Qualifications:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program and licensed by the state of practice (Texas or New Mexico).
• Demonstrates good verbal and written communication and organization skills.
• Possesses and maintains current CPR certification.
