Physical Therapy Attendant assists in the treatment of patients under the direction of physical therapists. Supports physical therapy care by preparing treatment areas, equipments, and materials. Being a Physical Therapy Attendant may be responsible for the operation and maintenance of equipment. Prepares and sanitizes treatment rooms for the patients. Additionally, Physical Therapy Attendant helps maintain the treatment records of the patient. May perform various clerical duties such as greeting patients and scheduling appointments. Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager. The Physical Therapy Attendant works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. We are looking for a dynamic recent college grad who wants to be a part of our team helping patients reach their goals. We are a small, independently owned physical therapy practice in Columbia, MD that serves a wide range of patients from athletes recovering from injury to others learning how to manage their pain and live their best life!
The physical therapy aide works directly with patients and learns from experienced therapists who take great care in providing the best care to our patients. The position includes patient care and administrative duties as you will work directly with a licensed physical therapist.

Previous experience in a physical therapy clinic or other medical setting preferred, but not required. The position is part-time and will include day or evening shifts--candidates must be available for either shifts.
