Physician - Hospitalist jobs in Florida
Physician - Hospitalist examines, diagnoses, and treats hospitalized patients. Manages patients through the continuum of hospital care, seeing patients in the ER and following them into the critical care unit and organizing post-acute care. Being a Physician - Hospitalist orders treatments, tests, and consults with specialty physicians and primary care physician where appropriate. Requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Additionally, Physician - Hospitalist requires a valid state license to practice. May report to a medical director. Physician - Hospitalist's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Millennium Physician Group has openings for Daytime Hospitalists in the Punta Gorda and Port Charlotte , Florida area.- Provide licensed medical services to patients in the hospital and works closely with their primary care physician.
- Work only in the hospital environment and the primary care physician works only in the office environment.
- Document the patient's care while in the hospital and communicates that information to the primary care physician through various mediums.
