**Overview:**
We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing high-quality patient care and possess a diverse skill set in various medical specialties.
**Responsibilities:**
1) Assist physician with exams; take vitals on patient, update electronic chart ie: medication history, PMH/SH,
2) Intake of patient phone calls/questions, triage calls accordingly with proper documentation in the chart
3) Schedule testing per provider orders with faxing orders to sites
4) Obtain prior authorizations for services or medications accordingly to the patient chart
5) Complete and fax work status notes, PT orders, etc as needed
6) Collect all daily charge slips, ensure correct diagnosis codes are on slip and in the electronic chart. Also document any nursing billing codes as appropriate. Send to billing person for posting
7) Maintain medication list through documents all new prescriptions and refills.
8) Provide patient education on diet changes, medication and upcoming procedures
9) Order medical supplies, clean and stock exam rooms as needed
10) Input lab values, reported medication, allergies, problem lists, into chart
11) Assist with appointment schedules and reschedules
12) Draw labs on patients and maintain the lab room IE: Centrifuge, Packaging, Cleaning
13) Scan any needed outside documentation into the electronic chart
14) Fill in as coverage for various departments as needed
15) Assist with any other duties assigned
**Requirements:**
1) Current RN License
2) Strong Oral and written communication skills
3) Strong organizational skills with ability to juggle multiple priorities
4) Strong computer skills
5) Previous Experience with Electronic Health Records
**Skills:**
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:
- Proficiency in specialty care practices
- Familiarity with Greenway Health or similar electronic health record systems
