Samaritan Health Services has an opportunity for a Nephrologist

Samaritan Health Services, a non-profit integrated health care delivery system, is seeking a full-time Nephrologist to join our team in Corvallis, OR. You will join a group of 4 other employed nephrologists, and 1 APC.

Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center is a 188-bed medical facility and level II trauma center that serves as the regional hub for Benton, Lincoln and Linn counties. Our award-winning health system provides exceptional primary care and a range of specialty services throughout the mid-Willamette Valley and Central Oregon coast. The network serves approximately 300,000 residents in the tri-county area, and beyond. Job Specifics

• Financial incentives include starting bonus and relocation funds, and additional loan assistance/retention funds
• Duties include outpatient clinical responsibilities, inpatient consults, and shared outpatient dialysis rounding (five locations)
• Clinic volumes average 15-20 pts/day
• Inpatient call of 1 week/5, with average volume of 10 pts/day (inpatient call is only in Corvallis)
• Opportunity for medical directorship over dialysis center in the region
• An established teaching institution, employment with Samaritan offers the opportunity to engage with medical students, physician residents (specifically internal medicine), and various other learners.

Job Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Nephrology
• Experience preferred
• Should possess excellent clinical skills, communication skills, and a strong commitment to providing excellent care that is team oriented.
• Eligibility to work in the United States
