Responsibilities Include:
Preparing treatment rooms for patient exams and minor procedures
Obtaining & documenting patient blood pressure, height and weight
Verifying & documenting patient medications & allergies
Sterilizing clinical instruments (via autoclave)
Preparing syringes for patient injections
Discharging patients
Ordering &stocking clinical office supplies
Maintaining sample medications in office and appropriately disposing any expired medications
Prepping minor office procedures
Changing and/or removing patient dressings
Handling prescription pre-authorizations
Supporting other staff as needed which likely would include scheduling patient appointments, securing patient referrals & authorizations and managing patient recall
Back Office Responsibilities:

Requirements:
High School Diploma
1-3 years medical office experience
Computer literate. Familiar with EHRs & MS applications such as Word & Excel
