We are seeking a full time Medical Assistant to work in our Wichita and Newton clinics:
Primary Duties include but are not limited to:
Preparing patient rooms, taking vitals, updating patient medical histories and escorting patients
Support for physicians and nurse practitioners
Abstracting, phone triage, sending out scripts and related orders, handling electronic clinical inbox, and other duties as assigned
Requirements:
High school diploma
Reliable transportation for travel between clinics in Wichita and Newton
Preferences:
Completion of an accredited medical assistant program
At least 1 year experience as a medical assistant
Knowledge of EMR systems
Pulmonary experience
Hours: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday - Thursday, Friday 8:00 am - approx. 3:00 pm
