Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Physician Assistant to the Radiology group at Metropolitan Hospital Center. The hospital is part of the NYC Health Hospitals System (NYCHHC). Metropolitan Hospital Center accommodates over 313,000 outpatient visits, nearly 70,000 emergency room visits and more than 13,000 inpatient admissions annually.

Responsibilities

The Physician Assistant will join the Radiology deparment at Metropolitan for Daytime schedule.

• Physician assistant assists the Physician.
• Conducts examinations of new patients, writes treatment plans, performs and interprets diagnostic tests and conducts outpatient procedures.
• Assists in conducting hospital rounds, tasks and other procedures.

Qualifications

• Physician Assistant certification/license
• Current NYS registration as a Physician Assistant.
• Current certification issued by the NCCPA.
• Must have proven ability to work in a team environment.
• Must be ACLS/BLS certified
