Pipeline Maintenance Manager oversees the repair and maintenance of pipelines. Verifies pipeline safety. Being a Pipeline Maintenance Manager schedules repairs and maintenance. Additionally, Pipeline Maintenance Manager develops safety procedures for pipeline maintenance and ensures workers are trained and in compliance. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Pipeline Maintenance Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. To be a Pipeline Maintenance Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 to 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Qualifications

    • Must be able to walk, bend, stoop, stand, climb and lift up to 75 lbs. for extended periods of time and perform numerous task that require physical agility and manual dexterity as well as mental acuity throughout shift.
    • Must possess and maintain an acceptable driving record and valid driver’s license pursuant to company policies and procedures.
    • Must be computer proficient to include Microsoft Office Suite and internet navigation familiarity.
    • Must be able to read and understand maps.
    • Must be able to walk up to 5 miles per day.
    • Basic knowledge of pigging oil and gas lines and maintenance techniques.
    • Practical knowledge of parts, tools, and supplies used in pigging procedures.
    • Basic knowledge of pipeline installation and construction.
    • Must be able to work unsupervised and have the ability to solve problems.
    • Must have solid verbal and written communication skills.
    • Knowledge of basic oilfield safety requirements, and applicable safety regulations, and pass a proficiency exam to demonstrate knowledge retention.

    Duties And Responsibilities

    • Demonstrate the ability to use Basic hand tools.
    • Demonstrate the ability to work safely at productive rate.
    • Demonstrate the ability to appropriately maintain compressor station cleanliness, general housekeeping, etc.
    • Demonstrate the ability to work as a team, in construction related tasks.
    • Demonstrate adherence to company Health, Safety and Environmental Policies and Procedures.
    • Must be able to independently prioritize the scheduled work each day to maintain peak performance.
    • Demonstrate proficiency in completing job related paperwork and computer work as outlined in company policy and procedure manual, in a timely manner.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Other Requirements

    • Must be able to work long hours, outdoors, in all types of weather conditions.
    • Conduct self in a professional manner always in the execution of duties.
    • Maintains acceptable personal hygiene and professional appearance and is clean shaven daily.
    • Required to attend all safety meetings unless approved otherwise by Manager.
    • Must be able to work weekends when required.
    • Report to work as scheduled.
    • Must be able to pass a drug screen.
    • Must have own housing.
    • Must have reliable transportation.
    • Maintain professional demeanor in all dealings with clients, supervisors and employees.
    • Perform other related tasks as assigned in a timely manner, following all applicable company rules, regulations and policies, as well as Federal, State and local laws.
