Position Summary:

Seeking candidates with prior or active Operator Qualifications (OQs).  A labor (A-Tech) is required to perform intensive physical construction labor duties such as hand digging while utilizing various tools and methods around all underground utilities for service and main work that is being performed. This will include but not limited to digging trenches and/or ditches, backfill and compacting in addition to skilled technical work that is related to the installation, maintenance, and operation of natural gas facilities which will be performed under the supervision of a gas foreman. In addition, as an A-Tech, it is imperative to have proficient safety skills, quality workmanship and a trustworthy reputation to provide the utmost degree of value in every task that you perform.

Responsibilities:

· Lift/carry materials and performs other duties involving the use of hand and power tools

· Must be able to hand dig with a shovel and dig bars

· Ability to work in all types of weather conditions.

Position Qualifications:

· Previous natural gas/utility/construction experience required

· Personal transportation available to and from job site

· Must pass Operator Qualification exams and hands-on exam

· Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
