D&B Construction is looking for a
Construction Superintendent to join our Delaware Valley Division team! the Construction Superintendent will manage the schedule and activities of the project. This position will be based on the jobsite in
Dover, DE.
We have two offices conveniently located in Central and Eastern PA, making for an easy commute from New Jersey and Maryland. Responsibilities:
- Review job plans and construction contract documents
- Understand construction codes
- Understand project plans and submittals
- Obtain permits
- Coordinate and manage the schedule and all activities of the project
- Receive materials
- Maintain an organized and clean site
- Complete Inspection checklists to ensure quality
- Communicate with customers, suppliers and trade partners
- Utilize Procore to track and update project status
Competencies:
- Construction knowledge and ability to read construction contract documents
- Ability to lead a team of subcontractors and field carpenters
- Proficiency with taking and uploading digital photographs
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Ability to follow and understand Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
- Ability to problem solve
Requirements:
- 15 years’ experience in a superintendent
- 10 years multi-family construction experience
- Additional experience in office and retail tenant improvement
- Ability to comply with all safety procedures and policies
- Valid Driver’s License
Preferred:
- 20 years’ experience superintendent
- OSHA 10 training
- Proficiency in Procore or similar software
