Position Summary:

An Ohio based manufacturer is actively searching for their next Plant Superintendent. This individual will lead the production team and support the further optimization of manufacturing processes. Working closely with the Plant Manager, you will ensure the efficient and cost-effective production of high-quality products while maintaining a safe and collaborative work environment.

The Plant Superintendent will have the following responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and motivate a diverse team of production personnel to achieve production targets and quality standards.
• Implement strategies to improve production efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance overall operational performance.
• Conduct regular inspections of manufacturing processes and product samples to identify areas for improvement and prevent defects.
• Ensure the utmost compliance with all necessary EHS and local, state, and federal regulations.
• Conduct regular safety audits, identify potential hazards, and implement measures to mitigate risks and prevent accidents.
• Utilize Lean manufacturing and other best practices to identify and eliminate inefficiencies.

The Plant Superintendent should have the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Management, or a related field.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate at all levels of the organization.
• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality management systems, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
