- Stay informed about industry trends
- Develop strategies to attract and retain members
- Promote membership packages and services
- Participate in community events
- Oversee day-to-day operations
- Maintain a clean, well-equipped facility
- Develop efficient operational policies
- Ensure safety, security, and risk management
- Recruit, train, and supervise staff
- Provide ongoing feedback and coaching
- Foster a positive work environment
- Develop and manage budgets
- Monitor KPIs and financial metrics
- Implement revenue-generating initiatives
- Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Sports Management, or related field (preferred)
- Previous experience in fitness center management
- Certification in personal training or group fitness instruction (e.g., ACE, NASM, ACSM) is advantageous
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Proficiency in fitness equipment operation and maintenance
- Knowledge of industry trends and best practices
