The winning candidate will have extensive marketing experience and comprehensive knowledge of branding, promotions, advertising campaigns, managing budgets, social media insights and managing websites. The Director must be able to lead a team, work directly with other departments, demonstrate the Brown Values and be able to have fun.
OBJECTIVES:
Spearhead the concept and execution of marketing campaigns by tracking through predetermined metrics.
Manage marketing team with strategic goals and objectives driving measurable performance aligned with the annual operation plan.
Plan and execute both internal and external company events such as sales rally, Christmas party, summer kicks offs, product launch parties, Pepsi Pops, sampling, and other events.
Understand key performance metrics and tracking tools for market research.
Design and implement sales incentives, promotional programs and effective plans with specific goals in place.
Create and attend community events that Brown Group Companies may sponsor to monitor sponsor relations. and promises.
Prepare collateral for conferences, trade shows, team motivation, speeches, digital advertising. Provide guidance and oversight of all Brown Group related graphic material including signs, displays, business cards, flyers, other promotional materials, and company communications.
Oversee placement of advertising buys and campaign metrics.
Manage and maintain multiple websites and social media handles to deliver the most relevant information.
Conduct meetings with key account managers and other sales leads to ensure the sales department is performing higher than required.
Manage and conduct media relations to ensure Brown Group Companies’ public image is protected and seen in the most positive light.
Assist sales in customer relations and retention efforts through program development including customer surveys, feedback, point of interruption, set distribution goals and execution trackers.
Ensure implementation of in store, advertising, and marketing strategies.
Identify opportunities to reach new customer segments and grow market share.
Research and stay informed about the latest marketing strategies.
Oversee website management and ongoing development to ensure Brown Group Companies’ sites are competitively positioned within the market and present key goals of the overall marketing strategy of the Brown Group.
