Powerhouse Supervisor supervises employees responsible for the operations and maintenance of equipment such as generators, boilers, turbines, compressors, or ventilating or refrigerating systems. Monitors equipment and operating conditions to ensure safety standards are met. Powerhouse Supervisor, a level I supervisor is considered a working supervisor with little authority for personnel actions. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Additionally, Powerhouse Supervisor typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members. Has no authority for staff actions. Generally has a minimum of 2 years experience as an individual contributor. Data Scientist
NOTE: This is a full-time employment opportunity (No C2C, subcontractor or 1099 engagements, please). This is a remote position, although preference is given to candidates in the DMV (DC/MD/VA) metro area.
Daily Responsibilities- Work and support federal health agencies to develop next-generation analytics and reporting systems to directly impact healthcare quality.
- Work and collaborate with business users and stakeholders to understand and gather data requirements.
- Build critical BI dashboards.
- Train business users to use self-service tools (e.g., BI dashboards).
- Maintain data documentation and definitions.
- Apply software engineering best practices to analytics code.
- Provide clean, transformed data ready for analysis.
Requirements- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card (U.S. Permanent Resident) (As mandated by our government client).
- Although this position is remote, preference is given to candidates local to the DC/MD/VA metro area.
- 5 -7 years’ experience as a Data Scientist with strong Business Intelligence, SQL, statistics, and Python knowledge to rapidly turn data into insights.
- Must have healthcare domain experience primarily with claims data.
- Expert skills with SQL and basic statistics
- Intermediate expertise in Python programming
- Good coding skills
- BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Information Sciences, or related IT discipline. Additional ten (10) years of related professional experience can be substituted for a BS/BA degree.
