Precision Parts Inspector

Worldwide leader in the manufacture of heavy mobile machinery has a job opening for a Precision Parts Inspector who will be responsible for reading and interpreting Engineering Drawings to evaluate and inspect incoming high precision parts and process rejected parts and coordinate rejected non-conforming parts with internal and external Suppliers to achieve timely replacement or repair. One (1) year of previous Quality Control experience is required, preferably in a manufacturing facility. Candidate should have a collaborative work style with the ability to work independently. The job will be in Huntington, West Virginia.

Qualifications

• One (1) year of Quality Control experience;
• Attention to detail and commitment to produce high-quality work;
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and techniques;
• Proficiency with 7-axis Faro Arm or other 3D metrological probing device;
• Strong written & verbal communication and customer service skills;
• Ability to work occasional overtime to support production demands.

Job Duties will include:

• Using ERP System to look up parts and navigate through assembly bill of material structures to obtain engineering drawings;
• Read and interpret engineering drawings to evaluate and inspect incoming parts
• Use of SafetyCulture program for processing rejected parts;
• Coordinating both internally and externally for timely replacement/repair of rejected, non-conforming parts;
• Maintaining tool calibration program per ISO 9001 standard in order to conduct tool calibration verifications;
• Other duties as assigned.
