Completes print production jobs on various types of printing press machines, including digital, flexographic, web, screen, or others. Being a Printing Press Operator performs in-process quality inspections utilizing standard testing protocols. Conducts visual inspection of samples prior to running job. In addition, Printing Press Operator completes all required production logs and documentation. Interprets equipment diagnostics, troubleshoots breakdowns, and makes necessary adjustments to complete the job. We use state of the art computer to plate operations. We’re seeking a well rounded, hands-on operator who appreciates quality work. The right person will be mechanically inclined, will work well with others, pays attention to deadlines and detail. Great working environment in a family owned newspaper operation. Ancillary skills a plus including forklift operation and computer skills.
