The Printing Press Operator reviews job specifications and complete setup tasks, including filling ink, calibrating machine, and loading stock. Completes print production jobs on various types of printing press machines, including digital, flexographic, web, screen, or others. Being a Printing Press Operator performs in-process quality inspections utilizing standard testing protocols. Conducts visual inspection of samples prior to running job. In addition, Printing Press Operator completes all required production logs and documentation. Interprets equipment diagnostics, troubleshoots breakdowns, and makes necessary adjustments to complete the job. Performs regular maintenance, cleaning, and changeovers of press from one job to another. Maintains a clean and safe workspace. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. Being a Printing Press Operator independently performs a wide range of complex duties under general guidance from supervisors. Responsibilities
- Set up and operate stamping press machines according to specifications

- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to keep it in optimal condition

- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating stamping press machines
- Knowledge of CAM programming and tooling assembly
- Familiarity with logic controllers and precision measuring instruments
- Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
- Experience working in a warehouse environment, including packaging and shipping
- Proficiency in CAD software is a plus
