Process Engineer develops and optimizes continuous production and manufacturing processes to achieve the output, quality, and cost goals of the organization. Collects production data and applies standard scientific and statistical methods to analyze, document, and diagram production processes. Being a Process Engineer identifies process bottlenecks and devises solutions to resolve. Recommends changes or upgrades to equipment, work methods, or other aspects of the process to improve efficiency and utilization of resources including labor, energy and raw materials. Additionally, Process Engineer requires a bachelor's degree of engineering. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Process Engineer works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Work is closely managed. To be a Process Engineer typically requires 0-2 years of related experience. Job Summary: We’re seeking an experienced process engineer to join a highly skilled team. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing and managing all aspects of processing through a food additive manufacturing facility. The role requires outstanding organizational, communication, and leadership skills and an ability to develop innovative solutions that push boundaries. The process engineer will work closely with and report to the CEO and Plant Manager to strategize and develop long-term plans that usher in new levels of productivity and success for the company.

- Collaborate with senior managers in the development of performance goals and long-term operational plans.
- Maximize efficiency and productivity through extensive process analysis and interdepartmental collaboration.
- Analyze current operational processes and performance, recommending solutions for improvement where necessary.
- Direct and coordinate activities of businesses or departments concerned with the production of the facility and its through puts.
- Develop and maintain the mass balance for the current facility.
- Help direct and oversee all engineering and design for future expansion production lines.
- Manage all process development for future product lines.
- Manage the movement of goods into and out of production facilities to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, or sustainability of operations.
- Work with Chemist to develop product standards, examining samples of raw products or directing testing during processing, to ensure finished products are of prescribed quality.
- Review operations and confer with technical or administrative staff to resolve production or processing problems.
- Coordinate or recommend procedures for facility or equipment maintenance or modification, including the replacement of machines.
- Conduct site audits to ensure adherence to safety and environmental regulations.
- Optimize operational costs and productivity consistent with safety and environmental rules and regulations.
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering
- 3 years in a senior leadership role in manufacturing
- Masterful organizational, communication, and leadership skills, backed by previous professional success.
- Superior knowledge of multiple operational functions and principles, including finance, customer service, production, employee management, and Lean Processes
- Proven ability to plan and manage operational processes for maximum efficiency and productivity.
