Warehouse Supervisor Duties:
Advise and lead employees on various safety-related topics
Coordinate warehouse floor activities to comply with safety and customer requirements
Problem solving of day-to-day departmental issues/challenges and timely escalation of problems that could potentially impact operational performance
Assist with timely completion of all Incident/Accident investigations/reports
Conduct safety walks and audits on a daily/monthly basis
Adhere to all the rules and regulations
Complete weekly/monthly safety documents and training video sessions with the employees
Work with Safety/Training Manager to set up new employee on-boarding process for safety
Enforce preventative measures
Maintain documentation of the company’s safety procedures, accidents and related events
Assist with creating/updating/reviewing Job Safety Analysis by outlining specific work procedures required to perform each job safely and effectively
Additional Duties as assigned by the Safety/Quality Manager
Qualifications:
General office and warehouse environment, PC, Microsoft use.
Ability to multi-task, excellent record keeping, time management skills are required
Detail oriented, safety conscious and a forward thinker
Manufacturing experience/environment
Previous experience or willing to learn how to develop, coordinate and conduct safety training sessions
Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
Required Experience:
Two years of progressive safety experience in warehouse, production setting.
Open and willing to learn additional duties for Quality.
Advanced verbal and written communication skills
