Production Control Clerk jobs in Mississippi
Production Control Clerk performs clerical tasks that support production control and ensure the efficient flow of materials required by production schedules. Monitors the inventory of parts, components, and raw materials and coordinates ordering, invoicing, and scheduling with vendors. Being a Production Control Clerk tracks status of customer orders and production schedules to identify issues or delays and coordinates with stakeholders to expedite orders and resolve problems. Inputs and maintains production data in ERP, MRP, or other databases. Additionally, Production Control Clerk requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a manager. The Production Control Clerk works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. - Completes daily work order closing to finished goods in the inventory system.
- Verifies finished goods bins daily.
- Conducts FGI bin audits.
- Collaborates with MFG Expediter on crate priorities.
- Requires at least 6 months of related experience
- High school Diploma
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to regularly lift, push, and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for a prolonged period
- Ability to work on ladders
- Manual dexterity
- Must be able to effectively work within a team environment
- Communicate and can follow verbal and written directions
- Ability to operate standard MFG, warehouse, and office equipment, materials, and tools.
- Monday-Friday work week

Hiring for 2 shifts: 7 am-3:30 pm OR 4 pm-12:30 am
Pay range: $16/hr PLUS $2 swing shift differential if working second shift
