Production Control Clerk performs clerical tasks that support production control and ensure the efficient flow of materials required by production schedules. Monitors the inventory of parts, components, and raw materials and coordinates ordering, invoicing, and scheduling with vendors. Being a Production Control Clerk tracks status of customer orders and production schedules to identify issues or delays and coordinates with stakeholders to expedite orders and resolve problems. Inputs and maintains production data in ERP, MRP, or other databases. Additionally, Production Control Clerk requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a manager. The Production Control Clerk works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. PPF (Production Pattern & Foundry) is hiring a Receiving Clerk.
PPF is a full-production casting foundry working exclusively in clean, versatile aluminum alloys. We are located in the heart of Mound House, just east of Carson City, and just west of Dayton, off of Highway 50.

The schedule is Mondays through Thursdays from 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Job Duties:
· Inspect and report any damages to Purchasing.
· Properly receive product into Odyssey.
· Ensure all products are delivered to the correct departments.
· Assist Purchasing with managing parts and supplies used for production.
· Organize documentation in both electronic and paper form to manage issues, information, and projects.
· Ensure all metal is staged in the appropriate area. Follow proper procedures for notification to QA and Purchasing when metal arrives.
· Review department inventory sheets to pull needed safety supplies.
· Work with Purchasing on projects assigned by management to help production and plant maintenance run more efficiently.
