Production Control Director jobs in Massachusetts
Production Control Director manages the overall strategic and tactical production control planning, scheduling, flow of materials, and monitoring to achieve goals and objectives for delivery dates, output quality, volume, cost, and optimization. Oversees scheduling and the development of methods to allocate and control resources and materials effectively. Being a Production Control Director establishes monitoring tools and processes to identify and plan for problems with waste, inefficiencies, and inventory in production operations. Recommends improvements to production technology and processes. Additionally, Production Control Director collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to develop effective planning methodologies and best practices. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Production Control Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Production Control Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Northeast Traffic Control Services is looking for a motivated, hard-working and meticulous individual to join our sign shop production team. An individual with crafting skills, such as knowing how to use a Cricut machine, would make a great fit for this position.
Responsibilities:
-Cutting plywood
-Weeding vinyl for sign application
-Laminating wood & aluminum signs
-Applying vinyl copy
-Knowledge or ability to learn graphic software
Requirements:
-Attention to detail & proof-reading skills
-Comfortable with physical work
-Ability to lift & move 70 lbs.
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
-This is an opportunity to learn a trade or bring your sign making experience to our established sign shop.
