Production Maintenance Manager manages maintenance and repair services for complex electrical and mechanical production equipment and systems. Plans and schedules maintenance workers, materials, and activities to complete work orders with minimal downtime, adhering to safety requirements and regulations. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Production Maintenance Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions.   • The Production Supervisor holds responsibility for overseeing the quality of finished goods and services related to packaging products. This role entails spearheading the company's initiatives on product quality and supervising the after-sales service team to guarantee optimal customer satisfaction

    Responsibilities:

    • Deliver top-notch service and support to the company’s clientele to uphold customer retention.
    • Address and oversee departmental concerns and client grievances, devising strategies to mitigate recurring issues.
    • Develop and maintain comprehensive quality checklists for all finished products.
    • Utilize the return material authorization module (RMA) to generate, collect, analyze, and report quality-related statistics and metrics for ongoing machine design and production planning.
    • Propose enhancements to design, assembly, or packaging procedures to enhance product serviceability, performance, and durability.
    • Supervise the service team to ensure adherence to after-sales directives and customer satisfaction.
    • Oversee on-site installations and field service operations.
    • Provide support to customers and field service technicians via phone and email beyond regular business hours as required.
    • Offer technical assistance via telephone and electronic communication to customers and internal departments.
    • Travel to customer sites for installations and field service tasks as necessary.
    • Analyze and interpret electrical schematics to troubleshoot equipment issues.
    • Collaborate with Production teams to assemble and construct equipment as needed to acquire a comprehensive understanding of packaging products and quality standards.

    Qualifications:

    • Associate’s or Bachelor's degree, preferably in Mechanics, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related industrial field.
    • Minimum of 4 years of management/leadership experience.
    • Excellent customer service skills and communication abilities.
    • Strong electrical knowledge, including reading and understanding electrical schematics and control logic, as well as proficiency in using a multimeter.
    • Familiarity with servicing mechanized systems utilizing PLC or similar control software is desired.
    • Understanding of manufacturing products.
    • Strong decision-making skills to assess and analyze situations for optimal outcomes.
    • Proficiency in computer literacy, particularly in ERP software systems.
    • Competence in Microsoft Word products.
    • Detail-oriented and organized.
    • Team player with a positive attitude and outlook.
    • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
