Production Scheduler develops, prepares, and maintains production schedules to guide the production activities and resources that achieve maximum efficiency and meet output and timeline objectives. Gathers data from internal teams to incorporate materials, inventories, resource availability, and delivery commitments into schedules. Being a Production Scheduler monitors daily production results and revises scheduling responsive to changes in the flow of materials, designs, equipment, or other resources. Utilizes ERP systems, planning and scheduling software, or other database tools to develop and maintain master schedules and generate reporting. Additionally, Production Scheduler typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Production Scheduler work is highly independent. The Manager, Supply Chain is required to spend 50% of their time managing Master Production Scheduling and Inventory Control. Part of this time will be spent coordinating with a remote Sales and Operations Planning team. The remainder of the time will require managing processes and personnel in Procurement, Shipping, and responsibleReceiving. Responsibilities include for developing, implementing, and evaluating strategies to improve schedule attainment and order fulfillment.
Material Management / Buying Execution:• Manages all aspects of inventory control to keep inventory costs within targets/financial metrics o Inventory management processes (FG/RM/Pkg.) o Outside storage reconciliations o Cycle count execution o Aging inventory management o Etc.• Develops and executes processes to buy raw materials/packaging based on MRP runs• Monitors, evaluates and coordinates supplier performance as it relates to deliveries and quality, and administers proposals and contracts for raw material vendors, component vendors, and packaging vendors to ensure minimal downtime to production. Scheduling (near-in) for the plant (2):• Oversees the finite scheduling for the plant operations in coordination with the CTI S&OP team and process• Coordinates with the plant’s maintenance team on optimizing schedules to accommodate PM processesWarehouse Management:Oversees the warehouse operations – internal and external• Ensures repeatable procedures to execute receiving/ issuing/ shipping operations effectively and in a timely manner• Coordinates the pickup/delivery schedules with transportations providers• Optimizes the cost performance of the warehouse operationsOverall:• Ensures the accuracy, timeliness, completeness of data in the system of record• Works with a philosophy of continuous improvement in all aspects of the supply chain discipline• Oversees the supervision of assigned personnel, which includes hiring, work allocation, training, and problem resolution; evaluates performance and makes recommendations for personnel actions; motivates employees to achieve peak productivity and performance. • Manages the function with critical KPIsyo

• Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree would be a plus• A minimum 7 years’ experience in Supply Chain in Manufacturing, Food Manufacturing preferred• A minimum of 5 years in supervisory capacity• Strong Microsoft Excel and all other Office Suite applications• Demonstrated experience of managing to results via process orientation• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of personalities • Strong systems skills – ERP and related • Preferred to hold some Professional Accreditations: Lean, CPIM, CSCP, CPM, etc. • Food industry experience is required.
