    Position Overview

    • The Production Line Operator III (Shift Supervisor) is responsible for the daily operations of the production line and overseeing the team members who operate the following machines: Blow Mold, Filler, Forklift, Label Machine, End of Line and Palletizer. Waiakea Hawaiian Volcanic Water sources, manufactures and produces bottled water from start to finish at our bottling Plant.     Schedule:

    • The Production Line Operator Supervisor is a full-time position, 36-40 hours per week. We are currently hiring for our Daytime shift:
    • Dayshift 1 (D1): 6:00am- 6:30pm Sunday, Monday, Tuesday & rotating Wednesday every other week. 
    • Schedule Example: Week 1- Sunday, Monday, Tuesday 6:00am- 6:30pm = 36 weekly hours Week 2- Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 6:00am- 6:30pm = 48 hours (8 hours of overtime)

    Shift Differentials will be paid as outlined below:

    Daytime shift receives an additional 5% hourly wage differential


    Essential Job Functions:

    • Responsible for training, monitoring, and giving instructions to the Operators assigned to the production line to ensure that safety, quality and efficiency objectives are met
    • Manage team member's time off requests and timecards
    • Organize and participate in the startup, changeover, and shutdown of daily operational tasks
    • Communicate all safety, quality, productivity and mechanical issues to management team in a timely manner
    • Complete all required record keeping and paperwork completely, accurately and on time
    • Responsible for meeting efficiency goals including ensuring accurate line staffing and monitoring line speeds versus standards
    • Responsible for counts and verification of proper components on the line versus the bill of material
    • Follow and enforce sanitation, hygiene, safety regulations & procedures, GMPs & HACCP


    The Shift Supervisor will oversee the Operators in the roles listed below:

    End of Production Line Operator

    Filler Operator

    Blow Mold Operator

    Label Machine Operator


    Other Job Functions

    • Troubleshoots equipment issues while working with the maintenance team to resolve any issue adversely affecting the machine’s operational status
    • Reports any critical equipment mechanical issues to the maintenance team/manufacturing team supervisors as well as follows the standard work order process for non-critical issues
    • Effectively communicates with management, engineers, mechanics, and other operators any condition that is or will adversely affect the machine and associated equipment’s performance
    • Ability to use a computer or tablet to enter production metrics
    • Ability to comprehend basic verbal and written instructions

    Education & Experience:

    The ideal candidate will have a GED/high school education (preferred); or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

    Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation.
