You'll invest the majority of your time in:
- Act as an active participant in employee orientation, training, and follow-up to ensure that facility policies & procedures are followed
- Implements daily production schedules within the quality guidelines controlled by the production system.
- Work with other supervisors to manage the entire facility's housekeeping and sanitation programs within established guidelines and expectations.
- Directs seasonal sanitation labor force on each shift during the processing season.
- Implements and assures compliance with facility & corporate food safety guidelines, Federal Regulations/GMP, and the facility foreign material control program.
- Develops, implements, and maintains production process and system flow charts.
- Providing direct supervision for production operations

Continued Daily Responsibilities:
- Manage employees during responsible shift in the bulk area by motivating, coaching and evaluating them
- Follow production plan and keep it updated according to the different fields, equipment issues and always minimizing the risk of wasted product and optimizing labor hours such as using breaks, special instructions, cleaning, etc.
- Utilizes operations data to facilitate decisions which maintain production systems within control limits
- Suggest process and equipment improvements as needed
- Member of a cross functional team for new projects and production development
- Responsible for production performance as measured by direct cost standards, direct labor, raw product recovery, safety goals, etc.
- Correct communication in the field for just in time raw material supply
- Quality at the source all the product delivered to the warehouse must meet customer specifications
- Performs the PVC tour to keep the process under control and follow leads and other key people’s performance
- Perform mass balance to keep waste under control
- Perform line study to guarantee performance continuous improvement
- Fill the action plan list during the transition meeting and gather all information needed for the daily meeting.
- Supervise maintenance personnel activities when maintenance supervisors are not in the plant, always communicating clearly to maintenance.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the daily and weekly production schedule.
- Ensure production schedule is followed and create proper logs if any modification is needed.
- Organize sanitation in terms of human resources and use of time in respect of the hygiene and food safety policies.
- Occasionally, can perform basic maintenance tasks and sanitation tasks.
- Monitor KPIs in safety, quality, and production and be able to communicate them with the employees of the area. Able to analyze KPI’s and propose actions to improve linked results.
- Facilitate bottom up communication to bring attention to management any ideas or equipment modifications which will help lower production costs

- Provide leadership for all production employees.
- Participates in the development of annual production goals and standards

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to read, write, and speak English ( Spanish is a plus)
- Must possess a demonstrated leadership and process knowledge

- Must possess a demonstrated ability to work and understand technical manuals associated to bulk production
- Ability to work weekends and other off shifts

Experience:
