Production Team Leader oversees, monitors, and coordinates production team activities, giving importance to individual member's and overall team's achievement of established goals. Ensures team's goals are aligned with and representative of the overall company's directive. Being a Production Team Leader acts as liaison between team members and the rest of the organization. May require an associate degree or its equivalent. Additionally, Production Team Leader typically reports to a manager or supervisor. To be a Production Team Leader typically requires 1-3 years of related experience. May be entry level if some experience in the skill.     Responsibilities

    Summary/objective

    Position requires knowledge of multiple disciplines. The Team Leader  must be able to continually switch job responsibilities and maintain the product quality and schedule.

    The team leader- Inbound Fulfillment primary responsibility is to facilitate and direct inbound fulfillment staff to ensure all inbound returning orders are correctly scanned and finalized to completion using PRG proprietary software system.

     

    Supervisory responsibilities

    Coordination of team members and helps maintain schedules

     

    Essential functions

    • Familiarity with Product codes and descriptions
    • Scan all required barcodes defined by return list/screen
    • All quantity items defined by return list are accounted for
    • Ensure any missing and damaged is appropriately documented to company standards and polices
    • Ensures issues with missing or damaged products in the shooting in process are reconciled and resolved with the inbound coordinator
    • Understands order of priority to items to be scanned to return lists
    • Work with Material handlers and QC departments to prioritize returns
    • Participate in the loading and unloading of trucks and sea containers
    • To help participate in cycle counts or spot checks for final verifications of missing items
    • Keeps shop floor clean and organized at all times
    • Leads by example and encourages subordinates and peers to perform work in a safe manner, wear proper PPE, adhere to safety standards and policies, and remain accident free.
    • Ensures department work areas are kept clean and organized at all times
    • Maintains and organizes the warehouse storage space
    • Ensures all outbound equipment related deadlines are met
    • Informs inbound coordinator of any issues on the above immediately

    Qualifications

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    • Extensive knowledge of products and solutions used in discipline
    • Microsoft suite of Office products
    • Able to lead a team
    • Communication to members of team and management staff

     Physical Demands

    • Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. 
    • Specific vision abilities for this job may include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus, with or without the use of glasses or contact lenses. 
    • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to follow spots and moving lights, loud noises, fumes, or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration.   
    • Ability to lift, push, pull, and/or carry objects up to 75 pounds, as necessary.
    • Must be able to communicate effectively by listening and in both written and verbal forms. 
    • Must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions to include extreme heat, humidity and cold.  

    Required education and experience

    • Familiarity with entertainment equipment
    • Ability to troubleshoot, prioritize and execute all job related tasks with thorough attention to detail
    • Must have strong organizational skills and be able to prioritize work to meet deadlines
    • HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent
