Production Supervisor (Nightshift)

The Opportunity 

In the role you will assist management in ensuring plant productivity, quality, and safety standards are met. This permanent position will report to the Production Manager and will; 

• Coordinate production within budget parameters
• Schedule and coordinate shifts and employees’ work schedules
• Conduct audits to ensure employees are performing tasks according to standards operating procedures (SOP)
• Ensure government compliance: USDA, FDA, etc
• Perform inventory checks and sampling
• Coordinate, with logistics and warehouse, shipping
• Provide performance coaching to hourly employees
• Ensure all equipment is running properly and coordinate needed repairs
• Conduct employee meetings, supervise production workforce and assist in employment resolution

   The Skills you will bring to the team

• Knowledge of USDA, FDA, SQF and customer requirements for a food manufacturing plant
• Knowledge of Sustainability and EPA requirements for a manufacturing plant
• Three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
• Intermediate personal computer skills, including electronic mail, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc
• Ability to operate (or learn to operate) necessary equipment
• Excellent record required in safety, attendance, and punctuality
• Ability to stand and walk the entire shift if needed
• Ability to read and write instructions in English
• Knowledge of the proper use of all cleaning chemicals
• Must be able to work weekends, and overtime as required

The opportunity will be based in Richfield, ID. This role is nighshift (6p-6a) and is on a rotating pattern. (more details about the shift schedule will be shared by your recruiting team)
