Successful candidates will be expected to provide high quality instruction in undergraduate chemical engineering courses, including lecture and laboratory courses, as well as curriculum coordination and other responsibilities related to the teaching mission of the university such as committee work and mentoring of undergraduate students. Candidates should have strong communication skills and the ability to communicate with a range of audiences. All faculty members are expected to interact collegially and maintain the highest standards of integrity and ethical behavior within department, college, and university activities. Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering and doctoral degree in chemical engineering or related discipline. Preferred Qualifications: Teaching experience in chemical engineering. Industrial experience in chemical engineering. Evidence of ability to communicate with a range of audiences. Department/Program & College Description: The Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering (CBE) offers B.S, M.Eng., M.S., and Ph.D. degree programs in chemical engineering. CBE has an undergraduate enrollment of approximately 400 students, a graduate enrollment of 90, 20 scientific staff, 12 administrative staff, and 28 faculty. CBE demonstrates a commitment to broadly supporting faculty, staff, and students in order to achieve University objectives in the areas of research, teaching, and service.
