Professor - Education teaches courses in the discipline area of education. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being a Professor - Education provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Professor - Education typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and initiates research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks. Provides intellectual leadership and has made significant contributions to the field. May offer independent study opportunities and mentoring to students.     Position Summary

    The School of Education is currently seeking adjunct faculty who are passionate about teaching and student learning in a Christian academic environment. With the growth of many of our programs we are seeking adjunct faculty to teach in both undergraduate and graduate courses.

    Education

    The School of Education is interested in finding qualified to candidates to fill positions in student teacher supervision and classroom instruction. The School of Education offers degree programs and courses in these areas of specialization:

    • Special Education
    • Curriculum and Instruction
    • Early Childhood
    • Reading
    • ESL
    • Bilingual Education
    • Educational Technology
    • Educational Psychology
    • School Counseling

    Job status- Exempt

    Reports to the Dean of the College of Education and Behavioral Sciences
