Demonstrate instructional proficiency teaching in various modalities (in-person, virtual, or online). This appointment starts in the fall of 2024.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Primary teaching responsibilities include teaching a broad range of English and Literature courses, including Composition I, Composition II, and Literature of African Americans, or a related field involving the Humanities.
- Advise and mentor undergraduate Digital Humanities majors and current students with Literature as a concentration.
- Engage in and maintain active scholarly research activities.
- Serve on departmental and university committees and engage in other forms of service to the university and academic community.
Candidates must have a doctorate in English, Literature, Digital Humanities, or a related discipline. Candidates with ABDs considered but must have a conferred Ph.D. by December 31, 2024.
Minimum Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates with Prior Teaching Experience.
