    The University of Wisconsin Law School seeks a stellar scholar with substantial experience in law school teaching to serve as the inaugural Sheldon Lubar Distinguished Chair in Law. Candidates should be tenured professors with at least ten years' experience in law teaching and record of excellence in scholarship, teaching, and service.

    Once hired, faculty members are evaluated and advancement is determined by contributions in research, teaching, and service to the Law School, the University, and the profession. Candidates must meet criteria for a tenured faculty appointment at UW-Madison.

    Responsibilities:

    Research, write, and publish outstanding scholarship. Teach courses in one or more of the following areas: business law (including but not limited to antitrust, commercial, and corporate law); democracy and freedom of speech; environmental and energy law; health law; immigration; and/or U.S. legal history. Engage in service to the University, the Law School, and the legal profession.
