Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Professor - Medical Ethics typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and initiates research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks. Provides intellectual leadership and has made significant contributions to the field. May offer independent study opportunities and mentoring to students. The Romney Institute of Public Service and Ethics supports the development of leaders of faith, intellect and character through teaching, scholarship, and engagement by enhancing BYU's ability and capacity to develop students who will leave the university with the tools and commitment to be moral and ethical leaders committed to serving their communities and making public organizations better. The role of Program Manager involves strategic planning, financial oversight, and human resource management for the Institute's programs, including MPA and EMPA, Ethics courses, Management Communication courses, and the Global and Community Impact Minor.
