Professor - Music teaches courses in the discipline area of music. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being a Professor - Music provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Professor - Music typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and initiates research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks. Provides intellectual leadership and has made significant contributions to the field. May offer independent study opportunities and mentoring to students.     Benefits:
    Health and Dental Plans: The District offers 3 Health/Dental Plans with various deductible and co-pays. For 2023-2024 health insurance plans include $1,500 Deductible Plan, $2,500 Deductible Plan, and a $3,500 High Deductible Plan (Health Saving Account eligible).

    Life Insurance: The District provides a life insurance policy at no cost to the employee and dependents. It is a $20,000 Term Life for the employee and $5,000 for dependents.

    Wyoming State Retirement: The District pays 15.815% and the employee pays 2.805%

    Paid Time Off (PTO): 11 days of per contract year.
