Provides intellectual leadership and has made significant contributions to the field. May offer independent study opportunities and mentoring to students.     Job Description:
    We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Rehabilitation to join our team. The Director of Rehabilitation will oversee and manage all aspects of our rehabilitation department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our residents. This leadership position requires a dynamic individual with strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for enhancing the lives of others.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide leadership and direction to the rehabilitation team, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists.
    • Develop and implement rehabilitation programs tailored to the individual needs of residents.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines related to rehabilitation services.
    • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of rehabilitation programs and make adjustments as necessary.
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop comprehensive care plans for residents.
    • Supervise and mentor rehabilitation staff, providing guidance and support to promote professional growth.
    • Maintain accurate documentation and records related to rehabilitation services.
    • Participate in meetings, committees, and quality improvement initiatives as required.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
    • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in the respective discipline
    • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of best practices in rehabilitation therapy.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and communicate compassionately with residents and families.
    • Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the ability to motivate and inspire others.
    • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards related to rehabilitation services.
