Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Professor - Sociology typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and initiates research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks. Provides intellectual leadership and has made significant contributions to the field. May offer independent study opportunities and mentoring to students.     Description: Carroll College invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor to join our Nursing Baccalaureate program with both a long-standing traditional pathway and a new Accelerated Nursing pathway. The position would start this upcoming Summer 2024.The Department of Nursing is seeking a colleague who possesses exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal), is committed to academic excellence, enthusiastic about student interactions, and who supports the mission of the college.Primary responsibilities of the selected faculty candidate include classroom and lab or clinical teaching, student advising, curriculum development and outcomes evaluation.Qualifications:

    The successful candidate will have a Master’s Degree in Nursing as well as an unencumbered Montana Registered Nurse license. We are seeking a colleague who has broad expertise in nursing for both the traditional and the accelerated program. Previous teaching experience desired, but not mandatory.Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
