East Bay Community Action Program (EBCAP) is seeking a full-time Office Assistant for Head Start at 8 John H. Chafee Boulevard in Newport, RI. The Office Assistant answers the telephone, monitors doors and halls for appropriate access, assists parents and caregivers with program information, performs general office tasks, and completes data entry.
The successful candidate must be committed to providing quality customer service while handling confidential information in a highly professional manner. Excellent telephone skills and a courteous and helpful manner are essential qualities for the selected candidate.
The Office Assistant must have a minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent and be proficient with computer systems including Microsoft Office.
