Voices Against Violence (Voices) works towards the elimination of domestic and sexual violence and stalking through direct service, education and systems change. The Champlain Valley Office of Economic Opportunity (CVOEO) is seeking an Associate Director to assist in overseeing the operations and services of Voices. In conjunction with the Program Director, they will direct the advocacy services throughout the program including services and functions of Laurie’s House and be responsible for providing support and advocacy services to all survivors when needed

Requirements
We’re looking for an energetic person who can work independently with excellent organizational skills for this leadership position. Knowledge of domestic and sexual violence and the impact on families is a must, as well as an understanding of trauma informed advocacy. Successful applicants will have effective verbal and written communication skills - bilingual abilities a plus; attention to detail; and skills in documentation and record-keeping. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required. Hiring Range: $58,679 – $73,349 A Bachelor’s degree in social or human services, and 2-3 years of related experience and a knowledge of domestic and sexual violence issues are preferred.
