Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Program Manager for a position based in Boise, ID. The ideal candidate will have over five years of project/program management experience, with a strong background in federal government contracting and compliance. This role involves leading technical teams, managing multiple tasks, and communicating complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Program Management: Lead and manage projects and programs, ensuring successful completion within scope, time, and budget.
- Team Leadership: Work with and motivate highly technical engineers to achieve their maximum potential on project tasks.
- Technical Communication: Clearly capture and communicate complex technical concepts in writing and slides for both technical and general audiences.
- Customer Interaction: Interface directly with Department of Defense (DOD) customers, maintaining high attention to detail.
- Independent Work: Operate independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Security Clearance: Ability to obtain a security clearance.
- Experience:
- More than 5 years of proven project/program management experience.
- Federal Government contracting and compliance experience strongly preferred.
- Experience leading a team of technical subject matter experts.
- Experience interfacing directly with DOD customers.
- Technical Skills:
- Ability to work with and lead highly technical engineers.
- Ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and general audiences.
- Attention to Detail: Must have high attention to detail.
Nice to Haves
- Program Protection: Familiarity with the components of a Program Protection Plan and embedded security disciplines (anti-tamper, cybersecurity, supply chain security).
- EVMS Systems: Experience with EVMS systems for government contract management.
- Security and Assurance: Experience with software assurance, system integrity, trust strategies, supply chain exploitation methods and countermeasures, and general vulnerability analysis.
- Technical Degree: Degree in engineering, computer science, physics, or related field.
- Certifications: PMP certification is desired but not required; familiarity with standard PMI processes and practices.
- Methodologies: Experience managing programs using traditional waterfall and agile approaches.

- Requirement: Must be a US citizen.
