Program Supervisor jobs in Alaska
Program Supervisor coordinates and monitors the scheduling, pricing, and technical performance of company programs. Responsible for aiding in the negotiation of contracts and contractual changes and coordinating preparations of proposals, plans, specifications, and financial conditions of contracts. Being a Program Supervisor develops new business and expands product line. Ensures adherence to master plans and schedules and develops solutions to program problems. Additionally, Program Supervisor recommends changes to improve process efficiency and alleviate process inaccuracy and duplication. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Program Supervisor contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Summary of Job Responsibilities:
The Southcentral Foundation (SCF) Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day performance of a group of employees. The Supervisor is responsible for guiding and coordinating the work of the group of employees towards established goals and objectives.
This position has two (2) levels designed to provide progressively more responsible and independent work experiences. Progression between job levels is based on the demonstrated ability to successfully handle more progressively responsible assignments.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma; OR GED.
- Bachelor’s degree; OR two (2) years of experience working in a position similar to those supervised including applicable certifications; OR demonstrated proficiency working at SCF in a position similar to those supervised.
Additional Qualifications for Supervisor II:
- Two (2) years of demonstrated experience at the Supervisor I level; OR demonstrated proficiency as a Supervisor I at SCF.
Employee Health Requirements:
Compliance with our Employee Health procedure is a condition of SCF employment. You are required to agree that you will comply with all job-related employee health screening and immunizations prior to your first day of employment. Jobs designated as a Health Care Personnel (HCP) position, requires that you have documentation that you have completed the following immunizations prior to your first day of employment: MMR (Measles, Mumps and Rubella, Varicella (Chicken Pox), Hepatitis B, Influenza, and T-dap (Tetanus - Diphtheria - Pertussis) and COVID-19.
Experience
Preferred- 2 year(s): Bachelor's degree; OR two (2) years of experience working in a position similar to those supervised including applicable certifications; OR demonstrated proficiency working at SCF in a position similar to those supervised.
