Alta Science & Engineering, Inc. seeks qualified candidates for an open Project Administrator position in our Boise, Idaho office. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented, with a positive attitude and the ability to work well as part of a team and independently. This position is full-time (40 hours/week) with benefits.
Responsibilities may include:
• Assist with project setup documents, and cost estimate production/review
• Oversight/monitoring of project activity, and reporting of cost, schedule, and budget
• Planning and organization of scheduled tasks to ensure successful and timely completion of deliverables
• Contract and subcontract preparation, administration, and recordkeeping, including change orders
• Assist with reviewing monthly client billing and preparation of contract required billing backup documentation.
• Coordination of insurance requirements
• Project monthly reporting
• Office Administrative support as needed
Required Qualifications:
• 2 years of administration experience in a professional environment
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organization and attention to detail
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office software, in particular, Excel and Word
• Experience using accounting software
• Ability to maintain a cooperative and professional attitude with co-workers, vendors, subcontractors, and clients at all times
Desired Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field, or a combination of education and experience
• Experience in contract/subcontract administration, including preparing draft contracts using existing templates, tracking expenses and budgets, maintaining records, and closing out accounts or project activities
• Experience preparing monthly activity reports, tracking cost accruals, preparing contract amendments, and following quality assurance procedures
• Current or previous experience in a professional consulting firm
• Experience with Deltek Costpoint accounting software

Salary Range
$25.00-$30.00 per hour (Depending on experience)
