Responsibilities
Manage multiple projects simultaneously on different scale levels
Manage project budgets, costs, margins, schedules, scope, quality, and customer expectations.
Projects may range from $200k-$3M.
Develop project estimates
Manage the development and troubleshooting of PLC & HMI code as required. There may be
multiple systems used by the customer or client
Work with the Sales and Operations Department to maintain and build relationships with
customers and present data, project scope of work, designs, etc. with them
Attend job walks, start-ups, commissioning, project close out meetings, etc.
Managing installs at customer site including oversight of all sub-contractors (which may include
electrical, controls, mechanical, etc.)
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Engineering or 7 years experience in system integration project
management
Prior experience leading controls and integration resources
Able to manage multiple projects at once
Experience in job cost analysis is helpful, along with budget management, time and schedule
management, resource management, and scope management
Ability to lead electrical, controls, and mechanical projects
Prior experience as a Controls or Mechanical Engineer is helpful
Experience in robotics would also be helpful (Fanuc, ABB, Kuka, etc.)
Comfortable in a fast-paced and high stress environment
May travel up to roughly 20%

We are looking to identify a strong Project Manager for our Wixom, MI office. This is a strategic contract to hire position. Ideally this person will have experience running both electrical/controls and mechanical projects. Automotive/OEM experience is highly preferred. Needs to know integration. Will be managing manpower resources for projects. Strong customer facing skills and someone who can effectively manage budgets, set price points and develop scopes of work with customers. Im leaving the bill rate range open at this point because it may come at a higher price than normal. We would expect this person to be roughly $90-120k depending on experience once they go direct with us. Please submit within a reasonable bill rate range based on the person's pay expectations. I will discuss with all candidates regarding salary expectations to make sure we can afford them when we hire directly. The person may travel up to roughly 20%, but the
majority of their time will be spent in the office or around the Detroit area.
