Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our properties. The Property Manager will be responsible for ensuring the properties are well-maintained, tenants' needs are met, and all administrative tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, rent collection, maintenance, and tenant relations
- Advertise and show available units to prospective tenants
- Screen and select qualified tenants in accordance with company policies and fair housing regulations
- Prepare lease agreements and ensure all necessary documents are properly filed
- Collect rent payments and enforce lease terms
- Coordinate property maintenance and repairs, including scheduling contractors and conducting regular inspections
- Address tenant concerns and resolve conflicts in a timely and professional manner
- Conduct move-in/move-out inspections and manage security deposit returns
- Maintain accurate records of all property-related transactions using property management software (OneSite)
- Monitor market trends and adjust rental rates to maximize occupancy and revenue
- Implement marketing strategies to attract new tenants and retain existing ones
- Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, responding promptly to inquiries and requests
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Property Manager or similar role
- Strong knowledge of property management principles, fair housing regulations, and legal requirements
- Excellent negotiation skills for contract agreements with vendors and service providers
- Conflict management skills to handle tenant disputes effectively
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail for accurate record keeping
- Knowledge of property maintenance procedures and ability to oversee repairs and improvements
- Familiarity with legal administrative processes related to property management
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to build positive relationships with tenants
