    Summary

    The Provider Contracting and Compensation Manager will be responsible for planning, analyzing, and evaluating provider compensation, and program operations for the Yuma Regional Medical Group (YRMG). This position is also responsible for supporting professional billing data/metrics; including provider production/measures, e.g. panel, ASA units, and wRVU volumes. The Provider Contracting and Compensation Manager will perform as the key contact with the organization’s provider compensation function to facilitate alignment with system-wide standards and procedures and support in the annual strategic planning process for the division. Will work collaboratively with the Yuma Regional Medical Center Compensation Department.

    Responsibilities

    Build and maintain competitive compensation structures for physicians, develop and maintain standards, templates and plan summaries including distinct compensation methodologies/philosophies for each specialty, and manage Fair Market Value (FMV) evaluation and analysis and conduct regular compensation review with medical group leaders and members.

    Maintain compliance and regulatory oversight; ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations and industry standards related to physician compensation.

    Participate in review of benchmark data, metric availability and reliability, survey completion, etc.

    Support provider production-based compensation plans and related reporting for physician practices. This includes data and reports that support the processes associated with the calculation, communication, and reporting of compensation for physicians.

    Support data infrastructures that provide ongoing reporting needs of Practice Plan Administration, including electronic benchmark data, etc.

    Assist in the development of visual models that highlight opportunities to support strategic planning and initiatives, improve performance, project future demand, and advance Yuma Regional Medical Group goals.

    Participate in subcommittees/workgroup meetings, including agenda preparation, documentation of meeting discussion, and follow up items

    Will be the primary liaison with YRMG providers and physician compensation software and electronic resources.

    Will assist in translating the compensation structures into contractual agreements.

    Education

    Essential:

    • BACHELOR'S DEGREE

    Other information:

    Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Healthcare Administration, Accounting, or Finance.

    A minimum of 5 years of work experience in a complex healthcare system in provider compensation or finance role. Experience providing data analytics and/or budgeting using financial systems.

    Preferred

    Master’s degree in Business, Healthcare or related field.

    Experience with comprehensive electronic health record systems and other healthcare data warehouses.

    Certified Compensation Professional CCP

    EHR Certification in professional billing
