Job Summary
The Senior Provider Relations Specialist is responsible for acting as a resource to all Health Plan employees specifically the employees of the Provider Relations Department. Gains extensive knowledge in the assigned subject matter. For the information system application(s) and a basic working knowledge of the enterprise healthcare information system applications. Uses analytical skills and experiences to investigate/resolve and/or escalate support issues. Incorporates techniques to assist and/or lead training sessions. Must have ability to train and provide documentation of the assigned application to users with varying education and learning abilities. Assists in the creating and maintenance of training documentation or on-line training courses. Utilizes project management principles to assist in achieving states outcomes. Creates and analyzes data reports. Keeps departmental leadership and project leaders advises of outstanding issues and support needs. Performs with a high level of customer service skills on all support and training requirements. Promotes and participates in the team approach to support and manage projects.
Qualifications
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree required, preferable in business, a health care or computer related field.
