Provider Programs Manager oversees the provider network administration function of an organization. Collects data, analyzes and reports on claims, utilization, costs and changes. Being a Provider Programs Manager reviews existing and future reimbursement policies, regulations and guidelines. Ensure competitiveness of provider network by the deployment of cost effective programs and systems that deliver results that meet cost control and quality goals of the organization. Additionally, Provider Programs Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Provider Programs Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. To be a Provider Programs Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 to 3 years supervisory experience may be required. What the Transition Manager does: PHILLIPS Programs is seeking a dedicated and experienced Transition Manager to oversee education for employment and work activities for students in a special needs school environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in career services and training for students, a strong commitment to improving student outcomes, and the ability to coordinate effectively with teachers and community partners.
- Program Management:
- Develop and manage work sites and community placements for students.
- Implement strategies to enhance students' work skills and performance.
- Ensure compliance with school policies and procedures.
- Direct Service:
- Transport and supervise students at community job sites.
- Provide job coaching, crisis management, and support for students.
- Monitor and teach work-related skills and behaviors.
- Assist high school students with post-secondary planning.
- Supervise students during transitions and issue work permits.
- Administrative Duties:
- Maintain records and databases related to the EFE program.
- Communicate with parents and stakeholders about program activities.
- Attend meetings, workshops, and conferences.
- Report progress and challenges to supervisors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience in career services and training for students in a school or community setting preferred
- Experience working in a special needs school environment preferred
