The successful Business Development Director is responsible for identifying new business opportunities and maintaining customer satisfaction relationships. They will work with internal management to achieve business growth objectives. To successfully deliver sales opportunities, the Director will work collaboratively with the Marketing team, regional ACS management and the broader ACS team.
Qualifications:
Proven ability to successfully navigate customers’ requirements and secure orders for new projects
Experience in industrial process building design and construction, industrial automation and controls, and custom process and test equipment.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in business development field
Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline preferred
Ability to understand the current regional business climate and align ACS approach to achieve market leadership.
Exceptional writing skills, with the ability to synthesize complex concepts/technical information, to make it easy for clients to understand
Excellent interpersonal skills with a particular focus on communications, service orientation, and accountability for results.
Work collaboratively and effectively as a team member; build relationships to facilitate goal achievement
Ability to work independently, multitask, and prioritize work assignments with critical deadlines; effective project management skills. Ability to operate under pressure and meet tight deadlines
